Book, Music and Lyrics by Karlan Judd

Additional Lyrics by Denise Clark

The story of Job as never told before!

The devil: a blonde bombshell in a police uniform.  God: an angelic streetwalking hustler.  They do battle to see whether Josah, a middle-aged single mother will crack under pressure or hang on to her ideals.

A greek chorus in the form of cable television newscasters, an appearance on

the Dr. Bill show, and a fabulous angel all join the fun.

Music style: Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, World Beat, Spoken Word, Country-Pop.

Comments about Lemonade:

“Great melodic hooks throughout with a powerful message.”

            Jason Payne

“Writing superior. Musical genius and a folk flair.”

            Blue Haze

“I loved it! Dramatic, fun and overflowing with talent.

The musical is inspiring: people have a right to enjoy it

on the big stage. If this play was a car ironically, it

would NOT be a lemon!”
